Will Liverpool win the Premier League?
The Reds may have been frustrated with Storm Darragh causing the Merseyside derby to be cancelled last weekend but such frustration will likely be short-lived with Manchester City and Arsenal dropping points.
It’s unclear what’s going on with Pep Guardiola’s team but Liverpool fans won’t care in the slightest and a 4-point lead, with a game in hand against second-place Chelsea, 5 over Arsenal and 8 over City looks like a pretty viewing from Anfield.
This is a team that’s packed with quality and they’ve been in fine form both domestically and in Europe so far this season.

A word on Arsenal
Those are fairly short odds for this point in the season and despite Chelsea being the team occupying second place position in the table, it’s Arsenal who are the bookie’s second favourite at the time of writing.
Arsenal do have been lacking in squad depth in recent seasons but they’ve certainly become a consistent force to be reckoned with since Mikel Arteta took over at the helm.

Odegaard is back and the Gunners might just be the greatest threat to Liverpool’s title hopes come May:

Chelsea’s Revival
Nobody seems to be talking about Chelsea being just 4 points off Liverpool and with Cole Palmer scoring for fun, the West London club has been quietly going about their business this season.
Chelsea came from behind to beat Spurs over the weekend and a glance at their current form suggests a plucky team who could seriously be title contenders in 2025.

What are the bookmakers saying about Chelsea’s chances? They’re not too far behind Arsenal:

Trouble at the Etihad
Last season Manchester City made history winning the Premier League and Champions League titles.
Such a double has been achieved before of course (by their local rivals Manchester United for example), but it is the utter domination that Manchester City showed last year with no signs of slowing down.
With footballing superstars, one of the world’s most highly regarded coaches and the biggest financial backing in the league, City were fancied to win a second consecutive premier league title in 2024/25.
This was going to plan at the beginning of the season but it’s certainly not going to plan now. City have lost on numerous occasions to teams that would usually be written off against them, they have developed a nasty habit of dropping points and things are not going smoothly for Pep’s team.

Is the dream of a back-to-back league title over for Manchester City? Never say never, but their odds are definitely lengthening:

Will Liverpool prioritise?
Things are certainly looking rosy for Liverpool fans and whilst they have an excellent depth to their squad this season, some critics may point out that Arne Slot is going to have to make some decisions of whether he wants to concentrate on the premier league or newly revised Champions League.
They are currently top of both tables, but whether they can sustain and rotate their squad to win a historical double remains to be seen.
Exciting times for Liverpool fans nevertheless!
