All Ireland SFC Betting – Kerry Favourites

Well, for fans of the All-Ireland SFC, the wait is almost over. Kicking off on the 11th of April will be the 2026 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. You probably hear this a lot, but this year promises to be a very special year, and one of the most exciting in recent memory as it will be the 140th edition.
Gaelic football has grown enormously popular in recent years, not only amongst keen sports fans and Gaelic football enthusiasts, but amongst sports bettors as well. With sports bettors gravitating away from the EPL and other “safe bets” in search of more exciting sports with the potential for better returns, the All-Ireland SFC fits that mould beautifully.
This year, all eyes will be on defending champions Kerry, who will be looking to continue making history, by securing their 40th title in the final at Dublin’s Croke Park. But what do the Irish bookies think?
Here’s a look at the 2026 All-Ireland SFC, favourites, form, and what sort of odds you can expect.
Kerry Clear Favourites
Since the All-Ireland SFC was first conceived, no team has won this highly prestigious title more times than Kerry. Kerry, who currently sit on 39 titles, will be looking to make it an even 40 in a few months’ time, which would surely be one of the most impressive feats in the sport today.
Last year, it was Munster champions Kerry going head-to-head against Ulster champions Donegal at Croke Park in July. Ultimately, it was Kerry who came out victorious, with a 1 – 26 to 0 – 19 victory against Donegal. David Clifford in particular, shone during that game. Thus far, those 29 points they picked up, thanks to their 1 – 26 score is the highest score ever in an All-Ireland SFC final.
Needless to say, with stats like those, Kerry go into this tournament as strong favourites amongst the bookies. Both BOYLE Sports and Bet365 are offering 6/4 odds of Kerry retaining the title and taking their tally to 40 championships.
Don’t Discount Donegal
Despite having only won the All-Ireland SFC Championship on two occasions, Donegal go into this year’s tournaments as second favourites to lift the trophy, largely based on their performance last season.
Donegal’s last league title may have been in 2007, but they are currently considered one of the best in the sport. Having reached the final last year, ultimately they came up short against Kerry. During that game, Ciaran Thompson sustained a very serious injury and tore his ACL. Had he remained fit, things could have been very different.
Because of their recent form, you can enjoy odds of 13/5 with Bet365 and 5/2 with BOYLE Sports.
Can Mayo Lift the Curse?
Mayo may have won the championship three times prior, but that’s not what they’re remembered for. Since their last win in 1951, Mayo have famously reached 11 All-Ireland finals. They have also famously lost all 11 of these finals, in what has been dubbed the ‘Mayo curse of 51’.
Their last final came in 2021, though bookies believe they can finally lift the curse and bring home a fourth title. BOYLE Sports and Bet365 both have Mayo at 10/1.
Armagh Ones to Watch
And finally, another team to keep a close eye on over the coming months will be Armagh.
Whereas last year may not have gone Kieran McGeeney’s way, 2024 saw Armagh secure their second All-Ireland SFC Championship, defeating Galway in the final. During that campaign, Ben Crealey proved instrumental, helping Armagh to defeat Kerry in the semi-finals.
The fact that Armagh not only won recently, but also defeated the reigning champs Kerry, has helped solidify them as serious contenders with the bookies. BOYLE Sports are offering 11/1 odds, whereas Bet365 have gone one better, and currently have Armagh at 12/1.
