Cork to win the All Irish Senior Hurling Final? Bookmakers Odds

With time running out to get your bets in ahead of the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship title, the bookmakers are installing Cork as clear favourites to emerge victorious.
The Rebels will face arch-rivals Tipperary in a much-anticipated final at Croke Park on Sunday, July 20th.
Current odds place Cork as firm front-runners, with pricess ranging from 4/11 with Bet365, 4/9 with Ladbrokes and 2/5 with Boylesports to come away with a win and end their run of 19 years without a title.
Tipperary, meanwhile, who came away with a somewhat controversial semi-final victory over Kilkenny, are being offered at 13/5 with Bet365, 5/2 with Ladbrokes and 11/4 with Boyle sports  to follow that up with another win in the showpiece game this month.
There is also a strong betting market on the draw as that is currently listed at around 8/1 with Boyles Sports and Ladbrokes.
The current odds do show that the bookmakers are backing Cork to go one stage better than last year, though, when they lost to Clare after extra-time.
It was the second time in the last four years that Cork found themselves on the wrong end of the result in the All-Ireland final.
This year it has been different for Cork, though, as they have shown strong form throughout the season.
They have already beaten Tipperary by ten points in the league final and that margin was pushed out to 15 when they met in the Munster championship.
It is that reason why the Bookmakers, and Tipperary’s Jason Forde even, all have Cork as favourites in this match.
Speaking to the BBC, Forde said :”I’m sure they’ll (Cork) be coming in as raging hot favourites. We’ll just have a serious two weeks of training and give it one hell of a lash.”
Not that Tipperary should be overlooked, though, as they enter the final with momentum of their own.
Their comprehensive semi-final win over Kilkenny caught many by surprise, and had some controversy to boot as the GAA had to confirm that the final score was a 4-20 to 0-30 win for Tipp after some confusion surrounding a Noel McGrath score late in the game.
That win, though, has reignited hopes of a return to All-Ireland glory. While the bookmakers may see them as underdogs, their odds do offer some value for punters who believe Liam Cahill’s men can upset the odds.
Even more so when you see that Tipperary have enjoyed success in the biggest of games in the past.
They were victorious in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship finals in both 2019 and 2017 and they know that finals are often  cagey affairs—particularly when traditional rivals like Cork and Tipperary clash.
Extra time, like there was last year, or a replay could be on the cards if both sides find themselves evenly matched on the day.
The bookies believe that Cork will emerge victorious, though, and take their first title since 2005 and add to their 30 wins that they have had in years gone by.
